HiFL star makes Flying Eagles of Nigeria squad

HiFL star makes Flying Eagles of Nigeria squad

From the stables of the HiFL to representing Nigeria at the Intercontinental level, the fairy tale of Emmanuel Ogbole’s career keeps turning heads.

The former UAM Tillers forward has been included in the Flying Eagles’ 40-man squad ahead of next month’s WAFU B U20 Championship taking place in Niamey, in the Niger Republic, years after featuring in the maiden edition of the HiFL.

After an impressive outing at the HiFL, Nasarawa United, one of the big teams in the Nigeria Profession Football League (NPFL), set their sight on him and soon signed him up. He joined the Lafia-based outfit’s feeders’ team and made his senior debut not long after. He is currently signed to FC Basira in Lafia.

One of HiFL's aim is to create awareness for collegiate sports in Nigeria, thereby sourcing talents to help with the development and training of these youngsters as they hope to start their footballing careers.

Emmanuel Ogbole has shown that talent and hard work can help us achieve our dreams. We couldn't be happier that some of our aims are being achieved. We hope to continue the good work we have started and source greater talents across universities in Nigeria.

“Thank you all and thanks for HiFL for the exposure. When I got to the pitch, I felt so relaxed cause HiFL made it so. Thanks once again. Love you all” This comment from Emmanuel Ogbole has once again proven that HiFL gives you the wings to soar.
